Barre is a type of physical fitness that incorporates a ballet barre and a thoughtful blend of barre postures, yoga movements, cardio, and strength-training exercises. Our fun and engaging full-body classes follow a consistent format to increase your heart rate, improve flexibility, and find inner balance. Easily modified exercises ensure that each class is accessible to every fitness level.

Using only the most effective barre techniques and equipment, our motivating instructors guide you through high-intensity, low-impact isometric movements all to the beat of the music. We bring the heat through challenging choreography and curated playlists that allow you to embrace your strength mentally and physically!

How to Book

Save some time before you get to class by downloading the Sōl Barre Studio app. This free app allows you to create an account, sign up for classes, purchase items ahead of class time, and track milestones toward your personal goals and progress!

What to Wear

We recommend wearing clothing that is breathable, comfortable and allows for a large range of motion. Grip socks are required to be worn in the studio for safety and sanitary reasons. If you need to purchase grip socks for class, we've got you covered! Ask our front desk staff to purchase the perfect pair for you before class. We also have rental socks available for $2.

What to Bring

It is important to stay hydrated throughout the class, so make sure you bring a bottle of water with you. Our water fountain is available to fill your bottle before class, and we do sell bottles of water for $2. All class equipment is included in the studio.

When to Arrive

Sōl Barre Studio is located at 867 S. 29th Ave, Suite 106, Bozeman, MT 59718. Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes before the class starts. Our staff will assist you with check-in, equipment set-up, and any additional questions you have about class.

What to Expect

All classes are suitable for newcomers and those without prior Barre workout experience. If modifications are needed for any reason (injuries, pregnancy, etc.) our knowledgeable instructors can modify exercises specific for you. Just speak with them about any limitations you may have before class.

Our core class consists of 50 minutes of dynamic exercises. You will use a mat and set of dumbbell weights for each class. Varying class formats may also include a ball, resistance bands, tubes, and/or ankle/wrist weights. All class equipment is included in the studio. Our dedicated instructors will let you know what varying equipment will be used in class each day.

  • All classes are suitable for newcomers and those without prior barre experience. Our low-impact workout is great for those recovering from an injury or pre-, during, and post-pregnancy. Classes focus on strengthening your core, legs, glutes, back/shoulders, joints, and pelvic floor. Our knowledgeable instructors can modify exercises specifically for you. Just speak with them about any limitations you may have.

  • All Sōl classes follow the same format consisting of a warm-up, thigh and seat exercises, and ending with bridge and core work. Classes are taught to the beat of the music and include built-in full-body stretches to lengthen and strengthen muscles throughout the class. Our Core class is 50 minutes of dynamic movements that focus on both the mind and body. Our Sunrise at Sōl class follows the same format, just for our early bird clients at 5:30 am!

  • Reserve a spot in class by scheduling on the Sōl Barre Studio app or website. Stay up-to-date with our schedule, class times, special classes offerings (e.g. themed playlists, collab events, monthly donation classes) and instructors!

  • The Sōl Barre Studio app offers a geo-check in feature, where you can check yourself in once you reach the parking lot. Or stop by the front desk and check in with our staff on the iPad!

  • Our studio is stocked with all the most effective and innovative barre equipment. We provide everything you need for class, including but not limited to a mat, dumbbells, ball, wrist/ankle weights and resistance bands and tubes. All equipment is cleaned between each class and between use.

  • We have a variety of class packages and membership types, which you can view on our website or app. There’s a little something for everyone!

    Is it your first time to our studio? The New Client First Month Unlimited membership is for you! Take unlimited classes at the studio during your first month for just $99!

    Looking to come in occasionally or pair barre with your current exercise routine? Purchase one class or our 5, 10, 20 class packages. Pay upfront, and use these classes (credits) whenever it works best for your schedule. The more you buy, the more you save per class. Use your credits for you or bring a friend as your guest for one credit!

    For those looking to come at least twice or more per week, we recommend looking at our unlimited monthly memberships! You can purchase one month at a time, or save by committing to our 6 month or 12 month auto-pay memberships. Take unlimited barre classes and enjoy guest passes per billing interval.

  • Celebrate your milestones toward your personal goals and progress in the Sōl Barre Studio app! Enjoy in-studio perks for major milestones such as 50, 100, 500, etc.

  • For safety and liability reasons, we do not provide child care for unaccompanied children during studio hours. There is dangerous and heavy equipment in our studio and we strive to create a distraction-free experience for our other clients. Our staff is not trained to provide child care and have other duties they are required to perform during class times. Thank you for understanding.
